Timed with the ongoing Winter Olympics, Universal Pictures released an extended trailer of their upcoming film, Unbroken. Unbroken is an adaptation of Laura Hillenbrand’s 2010 book, Unbroken: A World War II Story of Survival, Resilience, and Redemption. The movie will tell the real-life tale of Louis Zamperini, who competed in the 1936 Olympics in Berlin, Germany, before becoming a bombardier on a B-24 Liberator in the Pacific during World War II. After his B-24 was forced to ditch in the Pacific, Zamperini endured 47 days at sea before being captured by the Japanese. Directed by Angelina Jolie, Unbroken will be in theaters this Christmas.
