In this Royal Air Force video by videographers Cpl. Lee Matthews and Cpl. Tim Laurence, three RAF Tornado Gr.4s fly in formation over the North Sea during a photographic sortie, one of the type’s final flights before retirement in March 2019. The aircraft shown here have special paint schemes commemorating No. 31 “Goldstars” squadron, No. IX (B) Squadron, and replicating the original camouflage paint scheme worn by the first Tornado aircraft in service. The Tornado served the RAF for nearly 40 years.
