Special Warfare Combatant-craft Crewmen (SWCC) and SEALs carry out a hot extraction aboard Special Operations Craft-Riverine during training exercises. The 33-foot SOC-Rs are armed with .50-caliber M2HB heavy machine guns; 7.62 mm M240B medium machine guns; 7.62 mm GAU-17 six-barreled miniguns; and Mk. 19 40 mm grenade launchers. The SOC-R’s twin 440-horsepower Yanmar diesels feed two Hamilton waterjets that make the aluminum boat highly maneuverable and give it a tremendous power-to-weight ratio, producing speeds in excess of 40 knots.  Extracted from video shot by Petty Officer 2nd Class Sarah Bitter.
