To commemorate the recent 35th anniversary of the first flight of the F/A-18 Hornet on Nov. 18, 1978, Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) has released a marking the occasion. U.S. Navy personnel who are closely associated with the F/A-18 Hornet family such as Capt. Francis D. Morley, the current Program Manager for the F/A-18 and EA-18G Program Office (PMA-265) and Vice Adm. David Dunaway, commander, NAVAIR, share their insights into the past, present and future of the F/A-18.
