Lockheed Martin recently released this video of the F-35C carrier aviation variant of the Joint Strike Fighter flying high speed passes above Naval Air Station Patuxent River, Md. While we would rather hear the unaccompanied soundtrack of 40,000-plus pounds of thrust coming from the Pratt & Whitney F135, it’s still nice to see some “envelope expansion” going forward.

Next time just show the clip without the music. It’s just annoying how so many people think adding a music soundtrack will “enhance the experience”.

The clip is a Lockheed Martin release, and it came with the music. As we wrote in the description beneath, we’d prefer the sound of the engine alone, too, but we’re grateful for the great video that they released regardless.
