The DARPA-sponsored, Boston Dynamics developed Cheetah robot is shown here breaking its own land speed record as well as running faster than the fastest human on earth. The company is also working on LS3, or Legged Squad Support System, a refinement and development of its famous “Big Dog” legged robot.
