Last week’s airstrikes on ISIL forces in Syria and Iraq, carried out by United States and partner nations’ naval and air forces, continue today. The strikes have been notable for the participation of several Arab nations as well as the combat debut of the F-22A Raptor. Some particularly arresting images were shot during the airstrikes, and we share our favorites here.
